“So the blue is the sky, just playing around with the sky, and Linda and I were both riding out in the desert and in the mountains quite a lot. We rode pintos, and ‘Pinto’ means paint in Spanish. The pintos have big brown marks on their bodies, brown and white, so this was about the color of the horses. And the other thing that was striking on our rides round there, it was the time of the year when you would would see a poppy, the desert flower.” –Paul McCartney
